Robert J. Bargman

Robert J. "Honky" Bargman, age 53, of Dubuque, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clincs. To celebrate Bob's life private family services were held. Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street is assisting the family.
Honky was born on September 16, 1972, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Robert Davis and Linda Bargman.
Honky attended Central High School. He worked as a brick mason with Renaissance Restoration and Jackson Tuckpointing for several years. In his free time Honky enjoyed gambling, having a drink with friends and tinkering around with different projects. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. Honky often took the kids fishing and loved building and sitting around a big bonfire. He loved all sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Everyone who knew Honky, knew he was a "grumpy old man", but he was loved by all.

Honky was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Bargman.
