Robert “Bob/Bobby” Beauchesne, born December 16, 1940 in West Warwick, Rhode Island to Joseph and Florence Beauchesne, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on December 7, 2025 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Bob married the love of his life, Frances Sandifer, in Winnfield, Louisiana at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and together they shared 64 wonderful years of devotion, partnership, and family.
Bob was a dedicated father, husband, and grandfather. He attended Dan McCarty High School, Class of 1960, where he earned the nickname “Pint-Sized Dominion” for his talent and determination on the field. He was a proud four-letter athlete in track and field, baseball, and football. He later served his country in the United States Air Force as an in-flight refueler.
Throughout his career, Bob worked for Sav-A-Stop as a Service Merchandiser Manager. Outside of work, he was an avid sportsman who loved camping, hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his many friends and beloved family. A true college football enthusiast, he was an unwavering FSU fan through and through.
Bob lived a full life of love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that touched everyone around him.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Frances; daughter Debra (Kevin) Johns of Fort Pierce, FL; son Ronnie Beauchesne of Fort Myers, FL; and grandchildren Shannon (Jason) Boone of Kailua, Hawaii; Chase (fiancé Charlee) Johns of Fort Pierce, FL; and Joseph Mattioli-Beauchesne of Crystal Beach, FL. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Edmond Beauchesne and Florence Mageau Beauchesne.
Bob’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A gathering will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Haisley Funeral Home at 1:30 PM, followed by a prayer service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6026 U.S. Rte 1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946.
