Robert Leonard Bee, 79, of Ocala, FL passed away on April 27, 2024 surrounded by his family.
Robert was born in Marietta, OH to Benjamin and Margaret Bee on September 13, 1944. He
graduated in 1963 from Norland High in Miami, FL. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1963 to
1967, a Vietnam Veteran. He was President/Owner of Cobern Furniture for 15 years, he was the
National Accounts Trainer for Simmons Serta Bedding Company for 10 years known as "The
Legend '' for his ability to connect with people with his charismatic personality filled with
enthusiasm, humor and wisdom before retiring. He was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and
active member and leader in the Nazarene community. He loved to fish, play guitar, sing country
and gospel music.
He is survived by his wife, Dale Donovan Bee of Ocala, daughter Theresa (Brian) Huffman of
North Augusta, son Robert L Bee II (Gina) of Asheville, son Matthew (Julie) Bee, of North
Augusta, brother Ben Bee of Hartwell, sister Dee Baker of Belpre, and 12 grandchildren and 10
great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his spouse of 49 years Janice Bee, father
Benjamin Bee, mother Margaret Bee.
Funeral service will be held at 6241 SW State Rd 200 Ocala, FL on Thursday, May 2, 2024 with
Carl Romney officiating. Roberts of Ocala Funerals and Cremations will be handling the funeral
arrangements.
Family will receive guests beginning at 12 pm with service beginning at 12:30pm.
Family welcomes flowers, cards or donations to KW Cares.

We had a long,long,friend ship with Robert and Janice. We went on lots of vacations together and were very close for over 30 years.I miss those days as I will surely miss my friend.
