Robert Maurice Beels

Beels, Robert M. Age 88, December 22, 2025. Beloved husband of Vivian for 39 years. Loving father of the late Timothy (Cynthia) Beels, Catherine (Steven) Vazquez, and Deborah Titsworth (Richard Stain). Step-father of Roger (Gail) Maxwell and Kelli (Scot) Thoms. Cherished grandfather of 12, step-grandfather of 3, great-grandfather of 26, and great-great-grandfather of 2. Dear brother of the late Frank Beels, and survived by his sisters Janet Suit and JoAnn Clark.

Bob proudly served the City of Sterling Heights as a member of the Sterling Heights Fire Department beginning in 1964, retiring as Battalion Chief in 1989. He loved everything outdoors, including camping, boating, fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. Bob also enjoyed spending time using his ham radio, tinkering with projects, and whittling. He had a special talent for playing the spoons and was affectionately known as "Spoons" everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 3:00–8:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr Rd. at Metro Pkwy (16 Mile Rd.). Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
