Theresa R. Beels

Theresa Rose Beels [New Baltimore, MI] – It is with profound sorrow that the family of Theresa Beels announces her unexpected passing on October 3, 2025, at the age of 77. A devoted Mother, Wife, cherished Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and beloved friend, she touched the lives of everyone she met with her witty personality, unwavering spirit for country, and infectious laughter. Born in Detroit, MI on November 24, 1947 to Theresa and Alex Lisiecki. Theresa was a woman of faith, wisdom, care, and compassion who dedicated her life to her family and community. She was known for her good sense of humor, love for her family, friends, dogs, and hummingbirds. She found great joy in attending car shows with husband Walt and cruising in their 1937 Packard. Together they both enjoyed traveling, hosting parties, listening to live music. She lived her final months at Rose Senior Living where she enjoyed going on outings, enjoying meals with friends, playing BINGO, and participating in various activities. Theresa is predeceased by her husband Walter Beels, brother Gordon, baby brother, and granddaughter Cameron. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength in her surviving family members, including daughter Andrea Stocker (Chad), son Kevin Schreiber (Victoria), stepson Jake Beels (Andrea), Stepdaughter Jessica Koveck; Grandchildren Kieran, Lucas, Olivia, Braden, and Carson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Solanus Casey Center (1780 Mt. Elliott St, Detroit, MI 48207) in her name. We will miss her dearly and carry her memory in our hearts forever; please wear something blue to honor Theresa as blue was her favorite color. Visitation for Theresa will be on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until a 2:00 p.m. funeral service and then from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Wasik Funeral Home, 35259 23 Mile Rd. New Baltimore, MI
