Kenneth Beels Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Life Tributes Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Dec. 22, 2025.
Kenneth H. Beels
Age 78, of Spencer, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held in celebration of Kenny at 12 Noon on Friday, December 26, 2025 at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Nathan Thainase officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in West Spencer Cemetery in the Town of Sherman. Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM until time of service. The honor of pallbearer belongs to: Eric Beels, Brian Beels, Diane Beels, Michael Beels, Benjamin Beels, and Emerson Beels.
Ken was born on August 23, 1947, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield; son of Harold and Olive (Saunder) Beels. He was a graduate of Spencer High School. Ken was united in marriage to Linda Rogers on November 8, 1969 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Chili. Together, they resided in rural Spencer where they owned and operated a dairy farm and raised their two sons, Eric and Brian.
An avid outdoorsman, Kenny found great joy in fishing, hunting, and four-wheeling. He was especially fond of his classic lever-action firearms and took pride in reloading, a hobby he greatly enjoyed. Kenny also owned and dearly loved his Appaloosa horses, a passion he shared with Linda. When not spending time outdoors, he could often be found watching old western movies or enjoying time with his family, which meant the world to him.
Kenny's memory will live on in the hearts of his sons, Eric (Tammi Hallas) Beels of Marshfield and Brian (Diane) Beels of Spencer; six grandchildren, Michael (Marie), Kaydyn, Ashlyn, Emerson, Benjamin, and Maddy; three great-grandchildren, Noah, Waylon, and William "Billy the Kid" and his sister, Janet McBride of Iowa along with many other relatives, friends, and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Olive Beels; his wife, Linda Beels in 2017; his sisters: Sharon Klimmer, Joan Vanderhoof, and Darlene Boushon.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations in Kenny's name for a memorial yet to be determined.
