Robert Daniel Belonus (Bob), 63, of Castle Shannon and Finleyville, died April 3, 2025 after a tragic battle with cancer.

Bob attended Community College of Allegheny County in environmental science and worked as a Lab Technician for much of his career. His real enjoyment came from golfing, music, his cats, and televisions shows and movies. Bob's sarcastic wit and charm helped his family and friends in his final few weeks.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph W. Belonus, Sr. and Helen (Janesko) Belonus; his brother Joseph W. Belonus, Jr., his sister Janice (Belonus) Murphy, and his nephew Brian Bouis.

Bob is survived by his siblings, Mary Anne Hutchin (Boyd Hutchin), Jeanne (Belonus) Fraas (Robert E. Fraas, Jr.), Cindy (Belonus) Bouis (Robert L. Bouis, Jr.), and James Belonus (Melia Belonus) and siblings-in-law Mary Ann (Stefl) Belonus and Allen Murphy.

Bob is also survived by his 16 nieces and nephews who have many special memories of "Uncle Bobby": Kelly Hutchin Frey, Boyd Hutchin, Brian Hutchin, Mark Hutchin, Bethany (Hutchin) Wagner, Erin (Hutchin) Muffi, Robert Fraas, Michael Fraas, Robin Fraas, Patricia Fraas, Robert Bouis, Bree Anne Bouis, Brooke Bouis, Mary Kathleen (Katie) Belonus, and Thomas Belonus.

Bob also has 16 great nieces and nephews.
