Robert James Barton, 75, of Burgettstown, PA, passed away on July 19, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him. Born on November 14, 1949, in Moon Run, PA, he was the son of the late John and Anne Barton and the beloved brother of the late David Barton.

Bob proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. A man of quiet strength and deep character, he carried the values of service, dedication, and integrity into every aspect of his life.

Bob found great joy in nature-he loved cutting wood, bird watching, and casting a line into the water while fishing. He was a true outdoorsman who felt most at peace under the open sky. A skilled handyman, Bob enjoyed working with his hands, tackling home projects, and tending to his yard with care and pride.

He was a friend to all, known for his warmth and ability to strike up a conversation with anyone-he truly never met a stranger. Most of all, Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He served as the loving primary caregiver for his wife, Kristine, embodying the strength of his commitment over their 48 years together.

He is survived by his wife, Kristine of 48 years; his children, Eric Barton, Julie (Duke Siddle) Barton, and Tracy Barton; and his cherished grandchildren, Loganne and Andrew Barton. He is also survived by two nieces and many close friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and generosity.

Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

Bob will be remembered for his steady heart, hardworking hands, and unwavering love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and quiet strength.
