It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Lloyd Barton of North East, MD, beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on October 24, 1958, in Elkton, MD, he was the son of the late Stanford P. and M. Avolene ( Rhodes) Barton.
Ronald worked as a truck driver for County Concrete. His love for drag racing and cars was a defining part of his personality, showcasing his adventurous spirit and passion for high-speed thrills. Ronald's zest for life extended beyond the road; he cherished every moment spent with his family and friends.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his children Charles Barton, David Barton, Nicholas Paoletti, Jason Paoletti, Timothy Soots, Dawn Paoletti, and Brian Coleman. Ronald is also survived by his sister, Sarah Jones, and grandchildren Arya, Samuel, Blake, Octivia, Tessa, Morgan, and Jayded, who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.
Ronald was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa Barton, and his son Michael Barton.
In honor of Ronald's life and legacy, a visitation will be held at Crouch Funeral Home P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, on Friday, October 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Following services, he will be laid to rest at the North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
Ronald's warmth, laughter, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
