Margaret was born in Chicago, Illinois, and always loved big cities along with her dogs and cats. Margaret's first job was in Chicago working for Don McNeil's breakfast Club radio show. She was Don's assistant while working in the Merchandise Mart building. She also worked for Paul Harvey while in Chicago. Then Margaret turned to hotels. She started working at the Sheraton Hotel in Chicago in public relations. Later Margaret moved to New York City to be the Sales Manager for the Plaza Hotel. With the Plaza Hotel, she toured China along with 11 other countries studying their hotels. Her office was in the Empire State Building. Margaret always reinvented herself. She went to Israel to film a movie for a television station. She sold jewelry in Atlanta; then, she moved to Cleveland to be near her mother. Margaret sold insurance policies, worked at H&R Block and worked in the Cleveland Public Library.

Margaret was always an active member of the Republican Party. She ran for office to be a State Executive Committee Woman, and she attended the national convention.

Margaret was also a faithful servant of God. She was an active member of North Cleveland Church of God. She participated in the Harmony Ladies Choir, the Berean Sunday School Class, and the Wednesday evening Open Bible Study Class. Also, Margaret attended many Encore Classes at Lee University.

Margaret was a fiercely independent, self-made woman, an inspiration to many, and a legacy to herself. She is deeply loved and appreciated by many friends and family who will remember her fondly.
