Robert Timothy "Bob" Best

Celebration of Life services for Bob Best, 72, of Eucha, will be held on Saturday, June 18 at 10:00 AM at Stephens-Key Chapel in Pryor. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.

Robert Timothy Best, also known as 'Bob' or 'Pops', departed this life on Tuesday, June 14th at the age of 72.
Bob was born December 2, 1949, in Hayes, Kansas to Tommie (McCoy) Hawk and Burl Best. After high school, Bob joined his father as a pipeliner for several years. He later became an independent truck driver where he met the love of his life, Paula. Bob and Paula were married in October of 1989. Best Dump Trucking was founded a few short years later and for more than two decades, they ran a successful business. As retirement neared, they moved to the lake to slow down and enjoy more time with family and friends. There Bob formed many close friendships. He also had the honor of serving on the Board of Directors for the Tiawana Fire Department. Bob loved his grandkids and many times you could find him in his shop building various projects for them. He really enjoyed leather working, collecting antique cars, and riding motorcycles. Bob was one of a kind and will be missed by many.
Bob is survived by his wife of 33 years, Paula; son Shane and wife Jennifer of Pryor, daughters; Brandi Soderboom and husband Curtis of Claremore, and Laci Best of Kellyville; grandchildren Kali Hannah and husband Keaton, Bryce Leifheit and wife Madison, Brue Tibbets and wife Lakyn, Seth Best, Cayden Soderboom, and Owen Soderboom. Great Grandchildren, Pollix and Paelyn Tibbets and one on the way; brother, Gary Best and sister; Sherri.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Burl Best and grandson, Bobby Best.
