Robert Beugen

Resident of Roseville, passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 87. Son of parents, Jack and Francisse Beugen. Graduate of Washburn High School, Class of 1955. He attended the University of Minnesota where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1959, and went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota Law School. He served on many boards including the Cardozo Society, Pheasants Forever, the Jewish Community Center, and the Temple Israel Foundation. He served in the US Army Reserves in the Army Intelligence Unit. He volunteered as a Hennepin County Conciliation Court referee for 35 years. He is survived by his best friend and soulmate of 48 years, Joanne Ferraro; daughters, Victoria (Rich) Shapiro, Valerie (Eric) Simanek, Heather Beugen Washington (Sean Washington); stepson, Nick Ferraro; grandchildren, Talia, Josie, and Nathan Shapiro, Jack, Max, Leo and Eli Simanek, Sophie Jo Washington, Jessica Ferraro; and many good friends. A very special thank you to Dr. Ronald Kaufman. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Nature Conservency, or donor's choice.
