Robert “Bob” Bildings, age 65, of De Pere, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at his home with family by his side.
He was born on August 21, 1959 in De Pere, WI, son of John and Idabell (Ambrosius) Bildings. On September 21, 1985, he married Treve Berken in De Pere, WI.
Bob was a factory worker for Sierra Coating Company until his retirement. After retirement, Bob worked part time at Country Visions in De Pere. He enjoyed deer hunting, trap shooting, splitting wood, riding his Harley Davidson with Treve on back. Bob was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ledgeview and was a mass server.
Bob is survived by his wife, Treve, two daughters Lacey (Jamie) Bildings and Lindsey (Zane) Oldencamp; his granddaughters that he adored Addyson and Izabel Oldencamp; his mother Idabell Bildings; Three brothers Mark (Ruth) Bildings, Joe (Carol) Bildings and Ray (Paula) Bildings; brother-in-law Kevin Sommerfeld; one sister Dorothy (Dennis) Cashman; mother-in-law Bev Berken; brother-in-law Tracy Berken; sister-in-law Rae (Sam) Poguette; godmother Camilla Holl and many aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends Steve and Charlie Wollenberg, Mark Baugnet and Dave Hockers.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers Donald and Kenny Bildings; one sister Margaret Sommerfeld and father-in-law Bob Berken.
Family and friends may gather on Friday, February 14, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4805 Sportsman Dr., De Pere, WI 54115 (Ledgeview) from 9:00 am to 10:45 am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am with Fr. Mike Ingold presiding.
Robert’s family would like to send a special Thank You to Bellin Cancer Team nurses and especially to Dr. Anjali Budhathoki for your kindness and compassion.
