Robert Earl Bingaman, affectionately known as Bob, was born on February 9, 1936, in Carthage, Ohio. He departed from this life on January 16, 2025, leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories that will live on through his family and friends.
Bob was a devoted husband to Janet Grace Bingaman, with whom he shared a remarkable bond for an impressive 72 years. Their love was a testament to commitment and partnership, one that inspired those around them. He is survived by their children, Robert Jr. (Pamela) Bingaman, Gerry (Lisa) Bingaman, Pamela G. Bingaman, Mark (Kim) Bingaman, and Linda Brown. Bob was a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren, a loving great-grandfather to 37 great-grandchildren, and cherished his role as a great-great-grandfather to three great-great-grandchildren.
Bob's brother, Jerry Martin (Linda), mourns his passing alongside the rest of the family, while his memory will be honored as they also remember his dear mother, Mildred Martin, and his late brother, Donald Martin (Mary).
While we grieve the loss of Bob, we celebrate the love and kindness he brought into the world. His absence will be felt profoundly, as he will be greatly loved and cherished by his family, and will be sorely missed every day.
Visitation will be held on January 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hodapp Funeral Homes – West Chester, located at 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd., West Chester, OH. A funeral service will follow at the same location, starting at 1:00 PM and concluding at 1:30 PM. Bob will then be laid to rest at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Cincinnati, OH, where the burial will take place starting at 2:30 PM.
Bob's life was a gift to all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who hold him dear.
