Robert "Bob" Lee Barczykowski entered into rest on Thursday September 19, 2024, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Tarry Barczykowski, nee Bennett; devoted father of Amy (Matt) Curtin, Sara (Kevin) Warner, Natalie (Brad) Buss, Kelly Barczykowski, and Kyle (Selina) Bennett; cherished grandfather of Joe, Maddie, Penelope, Brock, Quinn, Vaughn, Stella, Tate, Audra, Emilio, Rylan, and Remington; and dear friend to many.
Bob was born in North St. Louis in late October 1948 to parents the late Vincent and the late Leona, nee Titone, Barczykowski. Throughout his life, Bob had a spirit that would light up the room. He is remembered for his great sense of humor as well as his infectious laugh and smile. Due to his charm and cheerful nature, it is not surprising most of the friendships Bob made in his youth were held throughout his fulfilling life.
Bob is also remembered for his love of sports. He loved to play sports, especially golf and bowling, as much as he loved to watch sports. Like many St. Louisans, Bob was a big fan of Blues hockey and Cardinals baseball.
But above all, Bob is remembered for the love and care he held for his family, especially his children and grandchildren. The amazing memories made and moments of laughter shared between Bob and his loved ones will be cherished for years to come. He will be greatly missed.
A visitation for Bob will be held on Thursday October 10, 2024, at John L. Ziegenhein & Sons South County Chapel 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. from 10:00 a.m. until his memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
4830 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129
