In his free time, Bob enjoyed gardening, being in the kitchen, fishing, and hunting on the family farm and passing on his passion to his nieces and nephews. He shared his baking and cooking with many people. He was very precise in his cooking, and he would critique his recipes until they were perfect. He loved to acquire the latest gadgets. In his younger years, he enjoyed going to car shows.
Bob was best known for calling and checking in with his nieces and nephews to see how they were and to be the first in the know.
