Robert "Bob" Wayne Kelley

ROBERT “BOB” WAYNE KELLEY, age 71 of Madison Lake died naturally although suddenly on the evening of Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

 

Bob was born in Olivia, MN on June 11, 1952, to parents Meredith “Guy” and Constance (Scherer) Kelley.  After graduating from Waterville High School, he continued his education at Mankato State University.  He worked in the building and construction trades throughout his life before establishing Kelley Heating and Air in 1994.  On June 20, 2014, Bob was married to the love of his life, Debra James at North Waseca Lutheran Church, and together they made their home in Madison Lake.  Bob enjoyed woodworking, golfing, and fishing, but much more than those he enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and following the many activities of his grandchildren. He also found great joy in his work and helping others with their projects. Bob's kindness and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

 

Bob is survived by his wife, Deb Kelley of Madison Lake; children Ben (Betsy) Kelley of Siren, WI, Jason (Caitlin) Kelley of Lakeville, Joe Kelley of Mankato, Katie (Mike) Engelmann of Northfield, Jessica (Bob) Brandt of Minneapolis, Amos (Jessica) Wolf of Cohasset, and Abraham (Sara) Wolf of Cohasset; twenty grandchildren; and five siblings, Mike (Kristina), Nancy, Jim (Ann), Mary (Sue), and Dennis (Michelle).  As well as many other beloved family members. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and brother-in-law Wayne James.

 

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024, at North Waseca Lutheran Church.  Funeral services will begin at the church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Sarah Krolak officiating.  Interment will follow services at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Elysian, and the family will then greet friends and family for a luncheon at the Elysian Event Center in Elysian.
