Robert “Bob” F. Kellner, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the age of 78 years old. He was born on September 19, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI.

After graduating from Whitnall High School, Bob served in the army from 1966-1968, spending most of his time stationed in Germany. After being discharged, he began his career at A. O. Smith (now Tower Automotive) in Milwaukee, WI, where he worked for several decades prior to his retirement.

Bob had a strong fondness for movies and TV shows (particularly those made prior to 1970). Some of his favorites included The Twilight Zone, The Three Stooges, The Prisoner, Benny Hill, the original Star Trek, and Doctor Who. He also loved film noir, and TCM’s “Noir Alley” was appointment viewing for him on Saturday evenings.

Bob also loved nature and animals. Most of his post-retirement days were spent feeding the animals in his backyard. He loved all living creatures and caring for them was of great importance to him.

In 1974 he married Mareda Anne Swan, and in 1983, they welcomed their son, Frank. Bob and Mareda lived in Waukesha and were married for 44 years prior to her death in March of 2019.

Bob’s laugh, dry sense of humor and generosity will be greatly missed by his son Frank (Maria) Kellner and two sweet grandsons, Wesley and Grant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Kellner.

Private services will be held with interment at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials in Bob’s name may be made to Planned Parenthood Federation, Inc
