Robert Bruce Orr, a true beacon of kindness and generosity, who touched the hearts of many during his lifetime, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025.
Born in Fairport, NY, on February 24, 1961, Robert, a man of great character and strength, lived an impactful life, filled with love, dedication, and service to others. His legacy is one of unwavering kindness and a profound belief in the goodness of people.
Robert spent his professional life in the service of others, working as an iron worker and later in the meat department at Save-A-Lot grocery store. His commitment to his work was only surpassed by his dedication to his family. A devoted husband to his wife, Carmen, and a loving father, Robert's greatest achievement was his family. His love, compassion, and care for them knew no bounds. He was their rock, their pillar, and their source of endless love.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marylin Smith Orr, and by two grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Carmen Albarran Orr; sons Jeffrey Clementi Orr and Jason Clementi Orr; adopted son, Stephen Billone; daughter, Arisally Rosada; several grandchildren; sister, Chris Kristofferson Orr; brother, Jimmy Orr; and by his In-Laws, Renee and Glen Bolton, Saralinda and Frank Kuchar; Rosemary Albarran, Rosa Negron, and Lacy Holloway; and by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 12 pm to 2 pm on Friday, 23rd May 2025, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home at 607 Master Street, Corbin, Kentucky, where his funeral service will follow 2:00pm.
