Robert “Bob” Pezenosky, 80, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, March 31, 2025. He was born in Schuylkill County, PA on May 22, 1944 to the late Matthew and Clara Pezenosky and was the husband of 58 years to Helen Marie Adkins Peznosky of the home.
Bob was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed playing golf and collecting model cars. He was considered a sports fanatic and an avid Washington Redskins and UNC Tarheels fan. Bob loved his family and enjoyed spending time with grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; daughter, Angie Sloate and husband Larry; grandchildren, Caleb Sloate, Carolyn Sloate; sister, Melanie Sherman and husband Jay and brother, John Stanley Peznosky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Clara Pezenosky; sister, Frances Bobish and a brother, Thomas Pezanosky.
A service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, April 4, 2025 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Thom Blair with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Collective (Hospice) of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
