Bob left this world while living a long and full life on December 12, 2025, to join his girlfriend, Jean, beloved wife of 46 years. He was born on February 3, 1931, to the late Earl and Evelyn Shaler. Bob enjoyed fishing in his younger years and in later years watching the Detroit Tigers.
He was very much loved, respected and will be missed by his family, especially his children: Robert Shaler, Jr., Rebecca (Alex) Teselsky, and Jacqueline Shaler. He was a proud grandfather to Scott (Liz) Terrian, Amanda (John) Hinkley, Janina (Anthony) Countegan, Alex Teselsky, Robert (Christy) Shaler III, Matthew (Emily) Terrian, Peter (Mo) Teselsky, Kellee (James) Harrington, Angela (Michael) Williams, Anastacia Teselsky, and Kaelynn (Drew) Huizar, he has several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and also leaves behind his big brother Earl Shaler Jr. and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his younger brothers: James and Donald.
