Robert “Bobby” Eugene Hall, age 71, of New Smyrna, FL, died on October 9, 2025. Bobby was born on Wednesday, July 7, 1954, in Mechanicsburg to Thelma Mae (Hall) Simmons and the late Donald “Don” Simmons.
Bobby’s survivors include his mother: Thelma Mae (Hall) Simmons of Mechanicsburg; his sister: Diana Herron and husband Timothy, of Mechanicsburg; his nieces and nephew: Dana Ferrucci of Stafford, VA, Danelle Fitzgerald of Carlisle, and Daniel Fitzgerald of Camp Hill.
Bobby graduated from Mechanicsburg High School as part of the class of 1972. After high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Bobby had a long tenure as General Manager in the auto parts industry, most recently retiring from All-Pro in 2011 after 5 years in sales. He had a deep passion for history, especially the Civil War and Robert E. Lee. Bobby’s interests extended to trains, including model trains, and also had a fondness for ships. He enjoyed visiting Inner Harbor in Baltimore to board the ships.
Bobby was extremely enthusiastic about sports, specifically the Dallas Cowboys football team and NASCAR, with Bill Elliott and Kasey Kahne being the drivers he admired the most. Furthermore, he had a great appreciation for Disney, with Donald Duck being his favorite character. Bobby will be missed by his family and those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Services will be announced once the family has finalized arrangements.
