Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, Robert Joseph Saul, 68, loving husband of Shelly Dean Saul.
He graduated from the Academy of Richmond County and attended Augusta College to play baseball. He loved traveling, cruising, and going to Vegas. He loved spending time with his grandkids. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Braves fan.
Family members include his wife: Shelly Dean Saul; sons: Taylor Saul, and Travis Saul (Kelsey); grandchildren: Larkin Saul, and Sutton Saul; sisters: Peggy Moore (Jim), Betty Sanders, and Martha Edwards (Dave).
He is predeceased by his parents Thomas L. Saul and Mary Jane Saul, and his brother Dr. Thomas L. Saul, Jr.
The celebration of life service will be on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends following the service.
