Robert D. "Bob" Boehme

MORTON – Robert D. "Bob" Boehme, 64, of Morton, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022, at his home.
He was born on August 26, 1957, in Peoria, to Robert E. and Anna J. (Johnston) Boehme. He married Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Roan on January 16, 1982, in Morton.
Surviving are his wife, Beth Boehme of Morton; son, Aaron (Lauren) Boehme of Morton; daughter, Whitney (Francisco) Ramirez of Washington; six grandchildren, Jack, Charlie, Knox, Sophia, Cruz and Hayze; two sisters, Lynette (Tim) Jeffers of East Peoria and Ann (Frank) Magana of Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob owned and operated Reliant Auto Glass in Morton for the last seven years.
Bob's love of music started at a young age. He was most known for playing the bass guitar in bands and on worship teams. Playing music brought so much joy to him which led both of his children to sing and play guitar. Bob's love for the Lord was evident in his life. He always shared his faith with all he came in contact with.
Bob also enjoyed spending time with his family. His grandkids were his everything. We take peace in knowing we will see him again one day.
He was a member of Connect Church in Washington and also involved with New Life Christian Church in Morton.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Connect Church in Washington. Burial of cremated remains will be at Oak Grove Church Cemetery in East Peoria.
