Our loving Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grand and Great Grandfather, Robert A. Boisvert (“Bob”), age 83, passed away peacefully on the 6th day of July 2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Bob was born on the 18th day of April 1941 in Manchester, NH, the son of Theodore and Yvonne Boisvert. He married Anita J. Auger on the 26th day of November 1959 in Manchester, NH and was a very loving and caring husband. He attended school in Manchester, NH and served in the NH National Guard before joining the Manchester Police force. Afterwards, Bob worked for the State of NH for many years from which he retired and enjoyed a long post-work life.

The absolute favorite part of his life was spending time with family, especially hosting a weekly Tuesday night spaghetti dinner at their home. He loved watching and meeting new people, often walking around the Mall of NH to see friends, with a daily visit to Cinnabon for coffee and of course a delectable treat. Afternoons and evenings were spent doing marathon word searches while enjoying the birds, squirrels and wildlife roaming his yard and eating the generous buffet of nuts, seeds and bread that he provided. He and his wife also enjoyed some light gambling in Las Vegas and Atlantic City when they had the opportunity.

Bob was predeceased by his brother, Roger Boisvert. He is survived by his sister, Pauline Marcoux and his wife, Anita Boisvert, and their four children: Linda Cawley and her husband Jay; Denise Violette and her husband Lenny; Bob Boisvert, Jr. and his partner Lynn Davis; Michael Boisvert and his wife Alicia, all of whom reside in Manchester, NH, plus 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services: A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, the 16th day of July 2024 from 4PM to 6PM at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital for which Bob was a longtime supporter.
