Robert Scott Born

Robert (Bob) Born, 69 yrs, of Plymouth, MN passed away on January 20th, 2026, surrounded by his family. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by wife, Randi Born, and sons Matthew (Nicole) Born and Derek (Alyssa) Born, grandchildren Harper, Cole, Chase and Charlotte, sisters Colleen Born and Christine (Mark) Gerber.

Bob was a graduate of Robbinsdale HS and Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he earned a degree in biology, specializing in botany. A lifelong athlete, he played soccer from his school years well into adulthood. Alongside his long career with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Bob pursued his passion for nature by becoming a Master Gardener with a focus on native plants. His commitment to service included volunteering with Great River Greening and Habitat for Humanity's Aging in Place Program. Above all, Bob would want to be remembered for his deep love of his family, his connection to the natural world, and the immense joy he found in his grandchildren.
