Robert Boughamer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home - DeQuincy on Jan. 3, 2026.
Robert Alan Boughamer, Jr. "T-Bob" was born August 12, 1970, and passed away January 2, 2026, at the age of 55.
A tugboat captain for 37 years, Robert spent a lifetime on the water, known for steady leadership and hard work. He also took great pride in riding his Harley, that he called Wind Therapy. "Tug" was a member of BACA, Bikers Against Child Abuse. Born in the Bayou, Robert was a true Cajun and passionate cook. Sharing good meals with family and friends was one of life's greatest joys. When he was on the road he always had to stop at Buc-ees, no matter how much of a detour it was. Robert also enjoyed taking photos, capturing every moment that he could. He loved his family more than anything and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Ann Thomas Boughamer; children, Alex Boughamer and wife Taylor of Golden Meadow, Justin Boughamer of Golden Meadow, Ricky Ivey and wife Taylor of Ragley, Cody Ivey and wife Jessica of Ragley, and Lakyn Rains and husband Chase of Ragley; grandchildren, Grayson, Dax, Hudson, Taylen, Isaac, Briggs, Landry, Stratton, Stryker, and Cole; brother, Grant Boughamer; his paran, Edward Collins III; his nanny, Sara Beth Collins; and aunt "mom", Judith Boughamer Feldman.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jake Boughamer; father, Robert Alan Boughamer Sr.; mother, Patty Ann Collins Boughamer; step mother, Margaret Boughamer Sykes; and brother, Edward Boughamer.
