Robert Kirk Bowman, 58, of Grandview, Texas, passed away on December 19, 2024, in Fort Worth. A service to honor his life will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends for visitation on Sunday, December 22, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Born on April 24, 1966, in Cleburne, Robert was a devoted Christian and a very successful business owner. He was united in marriage to Christa Gale Parks on September 12, 1998, in Johnson County. Throughout his life, Robert was known for his generous spirit and unconditional love. He often went out of his way to help others, exemplified by his willingness to give “the shirt off his back” to those in need. A dedicated family man and father figure to many, Robert's love for family was boundless. He was the best husband and dad in the world. He cherished his role as "Poppy" and fostered deep connections with both his family and friends, whom he regarded as family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 26 years, Christa Bowman; his brothers, Terry, Don, and Jason Bowman; his sons, Shelton Bowman with significant other Destynee Cordova, Clayton Bowman and wife Logan, and Brady Bowman and fiancée Haley Eakin; his grandsons, Blaine Bowman, Waylon Kiker, Walker Bowman, and soon-to-arrive Dutton Jean Bowman; as well as numerous others whom he considered family.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Ray and Roma Jean (Kuykendall) Bowman, and his brother, David Bowman.
He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
