Robert Charles Breon

Robert Charles "Bob" Breon, 87, of Williamsport, passed at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
He was born in Williamsport on October 19, 1937, a son to the late Russell and Evelyn (Hendricks) Breon.
Bob graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1955, and he went on to attend one year of college at Lycoming College before enlisting in the United States Air Force to serve his country. After returning, he worked as a union electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers until retirement. He was a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge #2786.
He met his loving partner, Marguerite "Peggy" Waltz, on March 11, 1994, and together they celebrated 31 years of love and happiness. In addition to spending time with Peggy and his family, Bob enjoyed collecting coins, attending Lycoming College sports events, the occasional day at the casino, selling antiques on eBay, challenging himself with Sudoku puzzles, and playing cards with friends. At the Sons of Italy Club, he competed in the Bocce League for 17 years, and his name is proudly displayed on several champion banners at the club. He enjoyed teaching bocce to his grandchildren.
In addition to his loving partner, he is survived by children, Mark (Vicki) Breon of Mansfield, Timothy (Crystal) Breon of Montoursville, and Kimberly (Joel) Dorgan of Williamsburg, MI; grandchildren Beth (Joe), Adam (Katey), and Riley; great-grandchildren Rylie, Madison, Randy, Wilford, Ryder, Gracie, and Kooper; as well as Peggy's children, whom he cared for like his own, Denise Drobnick of Reading, Stacie (Rob) Sweet of Painted Post, NY, and Craig (Dawne) Waltz of Colorado Springs, CO; bonus grandchildren Carolyn (Bill), William, Bradley (Himani), Nicholas, Eric, Lilly, and Athena; and bonus great-grandson Elton.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Breon, and former spouses, Lilly (Podest) Breon and Gloria (Botill) Breon. An open house "Celebration of Bob's Life" will be held at the Sons of Italy Lodge #2786, 144 E 4th St, Williamsport, PA 17701 on July 12, 2025 from 1-4 pm. Join us to reminisce and take comfort with one another.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sons of Italy Lodge #2786 in Bob's name.
