Robert Gary Brooks, 71, passed away on May 26, 2023. Robert was born on February 4, 1952, in Hallettsville, Texas, to parents, E.G. and Mary Brooks.
Preceded in death by his wife, Carleen Elaine Brooks; father, E.G. Brooks; brother, Mark Brooks.
Left to cherish his memories are his son, Robert W. (Melissa Pena) Brooks; mother, Mary Brooks; brothers, Mike Brooks; two granddaughters, Skylette Brooks and Airlia Brooks; two nephews, Mark (Shelly) Brooks, and Robert Allen Brooks; great-niece, Ashley Murphy; great-nephew, Gage Brooks.
Robert was a fishing guide in the Rockport area for over forty years. He loved dove hunting, gardening, sports, collecting guns, and enjoyed spending time together with family and friends. Robert will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10 A.M at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Rockport, Texas .
