Robert Anthony “Tony” Broyles Jr., 34, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025.
Tony was born on May 30, 1991, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Robert Broyles and Tammy Edwards. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert (Trina Jones) Anthony Broyles Sr.; his mother, Tammy Jo Edwards; his brother, Darrin Jones; his grandparents, Connie Shackelton and Rick Bryant; and his godmother, Tiffany Ward.
He is survived by his loving wife of five years, Ashley Broyles; his children, Connor Ells, Dalton Wright, Aubrey Wilder, and Hailey Broyles; his sisters, Ashley Brown and Saddie Broyles; his brothers, Willie Burton and Christopher Yates; his bonus brother, Corey Haysley; nieces and nephews, Bre’Anna, Chelseigh, Jordan, Christopher, Nathan, Kage, Alyssa, Ayla, and Ethan Brown; his mother-in-law, Pamela (Kenneth) Elgin; his grandparents, Debbie (Gillis) Broyles; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, extended family, and friends who will cherish his memory forever.
Tony had a heart bigger than life itself. Protective and kind, he was always looking out for the people he loved. He enjoyed fishing on quiet days, riding his motorcycle with the wind at his back, and listening to music of all kinds—especially when he could share those moments with his wife, Ashley and their children. He Loved being the center of attention. A Louisville Cardinals fan. He also loved spending holidays surrounded by family, making memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
Tony’s smile could light up any room, and his laughter was contagious. Though he faced hardships, he never let them define him. He overcame addiction and became a voice of hope, encouraging others in their own battles with sobriety. His strength and determination were an inspiration to all who knew him.
Tony was a man of faith who turned his life over to God. His walk with the Lord gave him peace and purpose. His family and friends will remember him for his Heart, his humor, his resilience, and the way he made everyone feel seen and loved.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the same location.
