Robert was a U.S. National Guard Veteran, an avid diecast car collector, enjoyed running bingo and dancing at the wineries.
Robert was a retired steel worker at Coe Manufacturing in Painesville.
Robert was the loving husband of the late Mary Buehner (nee Owen); beloved father of Thomas (Kathy) Buehner, John (Patty) Buehner, Karen (Randy Williams-deceased) Buehner and Michael Buehner; dearest grandfather of Ryan (Elizabeth) Buehner, Danny Buehner, Nicole (Michael) Carbonara and Katie Buehner; great grandfather of Noah, Aiden, Mia, Alex, Scarlet, Kiley, Vivian and the late Brynnlee; brother of Joseph (Sandy) Buehner and the late Dolores Buehner, Ronald (Mary Jo) Buehner and Kenneth (Rosie) Buehner; loving companion of Julie Fordu; brother in law of James Owen; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
The Buehner family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 17th at St. Cyprian Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Rd., Perry (Please meet at the church). Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of your father, grandfather and great grandfather. Bob was a very special human being. He was not only humble, spiritual and kind to everyone. We grew up together and had many FUN times. I will miss him and glad he has left me with many memories especially when I would stay at his house when both of us were younger. It should make you happy that he is now with your mother. I shall always keep Bob and his beautiful family in my prayers. Love cousin Rita Keller and Ross and Family
