Robert Stanton "Bob" Buffum

Robert Stanton Buffum, age 83, husband of the late Jeanne Buffum, passed away peacefully October 24th at the Lorelton Assisted Living Facility where he has resided for the past 15 months.

Bob was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on June 9, 1942. He attended Belmont High School in Massachusetts. He studied architecture and was employed as a designer for United Engineers. In his later years he drove a school bus for the district of Wilmington, Delaware.

He leaves behind a son Rob, from Chesapeake, Maryland; his brother, Glen Buffum and sister-in-law Marie from Folsom, Pennsylvania; his nephew, David from Virginia Beach, Virginia; and step-sister, Betsy Wood from Greensboro, North Carolina.

Bob enjoyed camping, sailing the Chesapeake Bay, and he was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed travelling the country on his motorcycle with his beloved Jeanne by his side. Also, Bob served in the United States Air Force as a military policeman.

Interment will be private at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, Delaware.
