Robert Burkhead Obituary
Robert David Burkhead, Jr., 67, of Littlestown, PA died on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Baltimore-Washington Medical Center. Born September 30, 1956 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son the late Robert David Burkhead, Sr. and Elizabeth Staub Burkhead.
He was a forklift operator for Northrup Grumman for 35 years. He was a graduate of Southwestern High School and played football, baseball and in his later years played slow pitch softball and was an Orioles and Ravens Fan. He was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed competing in bass fishing tournaments.
He is survived by his Aunt and Uncle Sharon and Bill Staub of Taneytown; cousins Gayle Cinegrani, Russell Cohen and William J. Staub, Christopher M. Staub; dear friend James Grimes and other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 – 5 p.m. on March 9, 2024, at the American Legion Post 31, 2 Sycamore Street, Westminster, MD 21157.

He was such a good soul, and I am so sad to hear of his passing. We used to greet each other by saying howdy partner. He always had a story to tell. Robert will be missed greatly
