Robert Butts Obituary
Robert Earl Butts Sr. passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 in Laurel Highlands, PA after an extended illness.
He was born in Mansfield, Ohio on July 3, 1942 to Roscoe and Martha Butts. Robert graduated from Blairsville High School in Blairsville, Pa.
Robert was an exceptional artist and pianist. He previously enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by two daughters, Robin of Columbus, Ohio and Lori Ann (Glenn) of North Carolina. He is also survived by his sister, Rita Thompson of Columbus, brother-in-law, Rev. Donald Merritt of Mansfield, Oh, daughter-in-law, Melody, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two children, Robert Jr (Puddy) and Erin. Additionally, he was preceded in death by siblings Geneva (Calvin) Collins, Betty, Jeanette, Leon, Aaron (Joyce), Roscoe, and Cecil.
At Robert’s request there will be no services.
