Martin Rawls III was born February 9, 1973, to Martin Rawls Jr., and Zera Gray Robertson. He transitioned to eternal rest on Monday, July 21, 2025.
Martin is predeceased by his mother Zera Gray Robertson and paternal grandparents, Martin Rawls, Sr., and Vera Mae Rawls.
Martin accepted Christ and joined Mount Zion Baptist Church on Sunday, February 9, 2025, and was baptized by his uncle Rev. Dr. Laurence Rawls on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
Martin loved fishing, dogs, and Cadillacs.
Martin is survived by his father, Martin Rawls, Jr.; children, Marketa Young, Khalib Bond, Nishan Rawls, Najee Rawls, Mekhi Wadlington, Jamari Clark, and Ayana Wadlington; siblings, Kahmelia Barry, Lamont Prince, Del Ray Morales, Joseph Prince, Fred Samms, Veronica Puckett, Myron Black, Deidre Black, Preshes Mathews, and Delestradious Prince; girlfriend Bondrian Stinnett; a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Antonio Reuer, Williejohn Blaney, Brian Brooks, Arkevia Brown, Carlton Cheatham, Viola Cheatham, Keith Franklin, Roberta Hobbs, Zimmie Spears, Rachelle Sutton, and Corey Wilder, Sr.
