Robert "Bob" C. Carr, 70, died Monday, January 6, 2025, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, January 13, 2025, at Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Atchison, KS, with Pastor Stephen Lucas officiating the service. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Atchison, KS. A visitation with the family will be held on the day of service from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the church. The Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home is in charge of the services. Memorials are suggested to Faith Bible Fellowship Church. Condolences for the family maybe left online at www.beckerdyer.com
Bob was born on Feb. 19, 1954, in Dodge City, Kansas, the son of Roy and Dorothy Carr. He married Cheryl Wagner on Dec. 15, 1984, and she preceded him in death on Jan. 26, 2015. He later married Rebecca "Becky" Boyle on Nov. 19, 2016. He worked as a welder, and retired from Altec in St. Joseph, MO, in 2016. He was a member of the Faith Bible Fellowship Church. He enjoyed singing and playing the piano at church and at local nursing homes, assisted in making mats for the homeless, attending concerts and car races.
He is survived by his wife Becky, sons, Matthew (Michelle) Carr and Steven (Kelsie) Carr, daughter, Sharon (Tisha) Carr, stepson's, Pat (Lisa) Boyle, Jerry Boyle, Andy (Shirlee) Boyle, stepdaughter, Rhonda Boyle, twenty-one grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Ora Carr. He is preceded by his parents, wife (Cheryl) and brother Roy Carr.
