Robert Carson Obituary
Age 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Beloved husband of the late April (nee Witzl); loving father of: Janice (Matt) Sowske, and Joyce (Jim) Spalla; cherished grandfather of: Eric, Amanda, and Abby Sowske, and Christian, Ethan, and Austin Spalla; dear brother of the late John "Terry" Bickham, Barbara (the late Albert) Crosby, Judy Bickham, and Tom (Donna) Bickham. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lincoln Carson and Betty Bickham. Robert was a talented artist who worked as a sign painter for many years. He was also an active member of United Methodist Church in New Lenox. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 3-8PM. Lying in State Monday, October 16, 2023 from 10:30 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00AM at the United Methodist Church of New Lenox, 339 W. Haven Ave., New Lenox, IL 60451. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations to United Methodist Church in New Lenox, are appreciated.
