Robert was born on February 11, 1944 to Raymond and Hildur Casaburi in Brooklyn, NY.
Robert proudly worked as a Police Officer for the New York City Police Department. He started his career with his brother as a Foot Patrolman in Bedford Stuyvesant and spent 16 years in the Highway Patrol Division. He was a lead accident re-constructionist for the NYPD and was part of the Brooklyn Initiative that brought Highway Patrol and the Emergency Services Unit to the borough of Staten Island. Robert proudly served and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He went on to own and operate many successful businesses, but above all he was a loving and devoted family man.
Robert is survived by his loving spouse of 29 years, Frances, three sons, Robert Casaburi and his finance, Amanda Galbreath, Eric Casaburi and wife Kimberly, Greggory Casaburi and his finance, Kimberly Haines; and seven grandchildren, Carmela, Eric, Jr., Victoria, Andrew, Amanda, Robbie, and Madison.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 9:00pm at Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Morganville, NJ.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 11:30 at St. Clement Church of Matawan.
Entombment will take place in the Marlboro Mausoleum & Cemetery., Marlboro, NJ.

Met Robert a few times before he retired. A person who will be missed. May the memories of happier times give his family and friends strength. I worked at the 68 Pct with his son Bobby.
