Robert C. Charest

Robert C. Charest, age 75, of West Haven Connecticut passed away on April 14, 2022 at the Veteran's Hospital. He was born in Fall River, MA, son of the late Lionel and Claire Sullivan Charest. Robert was a proud US Army Veteran. He served in Vietnam from 1965 – 1966, with the 1st Infantry Division. While serving in the military he was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and he also achieved the Combat Infantryman's Badge. Mr. Charest was an avid lover of people and animals alike. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR events, and watching the Eagles play. He was quick witted and had a knack for making people laugh. Robert also contributed money to several charities in the area. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all that knew him well.
