Pauline and Family;
Thank you for taking the time to let me know of Rob's passing. I forwarded the information to some of his friends at the Model Basin. When I first went to work at the Model Basin in 1965 I quickly found out that Rob was the "go to" guy. He had everything and could do anything. Once, Fred Breiter broke a dental plate at work. He knew that Rob kept an assortment of glues and epoxies at work so he asked Rob for just something to tide him over until he could see a dentist. After he explained the problem, Rob asked him if he would prefer to use dental cement because he actually had some. (I have no idea why.)That was typical of Rob. He was always prepared for the unexpected and generous with his help. He taught me everything I know about repairing cars and advised Chris on what Snap-On tools I would be needing, which he ordered from John. Rob was my officemate for several years and I always valued his friendship highly. He taught me to not be afraid to try new things and to think ourside of the box. When we bought our house 2 years ago, the previous owner had done a number of unusual, useful things that reminded me of Rob. He will be remembered by all of the (no longer) young engineers he mentored at the Model Basin. Our sincere sympathy to you all.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr Charles. He has always been a very special person to me and I have always enjoyed talking to him about his insurance and seeing his sweet smile and caring concern.I have known him for many years and through all of our contacts he has always been so nice. If I was having a rough day he had a way of making me smile and feel better. I am sure he will be missed greatly but he is with his Lord and won't have any more pain or suffering to endure.We all have that hope of seeing him again. I pray that God will give you His loving grace and mercy to get you through this and comfort your hurting hearts.You will be in our thoughts and prayers daily.
