Robert Chew Obituary

Robert graduated from Eastern Pilgrim College in 1965. He served in the United States Army from 1966- 1969 as a machinist during the Vietnam War. He then worked at DuPont as a lab technician for over 30 years until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, doing yard work and reading.
Robert is survived by his son, Robert Chew and his wife, Julie of Hopkinsville, KY and his daughter, Beverly Getchell and her husband, Mark of Meadville, PA and his three grandchildren, Samantha, Jonathon and Elaine and his great grandchild, Malachi.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
As per his wishes, there will be no services.
Robert will be laid to rest at Greendale Cemetery.

Bob was always a ray of sunshine in our neighborhood. He was the first nieghbor to sign up for our daughters' egg business. They loved running eggs down to him, and he delighted in reading their news blurbs about the chickens. Bob always took care to keep his yard emaculate and plowed our sidewalk for us many times. We are already missing seeing him every day, waving, and catching up about his daugher and son. Bob, you are so missed!
