Robert A. Chociej Sr.

PEABODY - Mr. Robert A. "Bob" Chociej, Sr., 66, passed away the morning of Monday, February 21st, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Saugus, he was the son of the late Roman and Katherine (Gosse) Chociej. Bob was the husband of Susan (MacDonald) Chociej, with whom he had celebrated 40 years of marriage.
Robert has resided in Peabody for the past 39 years, and prior to that in Revere. He was apart of the 1973 graduating class of Saugus High School, and went on to become a truck driver, most recently working with Metro Glass and Metal in Woburn. Bob was a family man, and loved spending time with his 4 grandchildren. He could always be found in the driveway or garage working on a project. He enjoyed the excitement that came from drag racing, as well as spending the day relaxing on the water fishing. He recently purchased a boat he hoped to share with his grandchildren. Robert will be missed by his family, and those lucky enough to call him a friend.
In addition to his adored wife, Susan, Robert is survived by his children; Robert A. "Bobby" Chociej, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer of Wenham, and Karen Babcock and her husband, Matthew of Lisbon, CT., along with his 4 grandchildren; Aiden, Mackenzie, Quinn, and Cameron.
