Paul Belanger Obituary
IPSWICH – Mr. Paul Norman Belanger, 59 of Ipswich, loving husband of Carol D. (Buckley) Belanger, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at Lahey Burlington with his loving wife by his side.
Born in Salem, Paul was the son of Virginia O. Belanger and the late Norman R. Belanger. He was raised and educated in Salem, graduating from Salem High School in 1984. Paul continued his education at Salem State College and North Shore Community College.
Paul devoted his working career to innovative technology working his professional career for the last 25 years as a Senior Tech Technician at Microchip Technology in Beverly. Paul was highly respected amongst his team and truly took pride in his every day contributions to the industry.
Paul was an extraordinary man whose life was defined by his passions. A talented musician, he found joy in playing the bass and acoustic guitar, filling the air around him with soulful melodies. Music was his heart's language, and he loved to immerse himself in the vibrant sounds of live performances, often traveling to musical havens such as New Orleans and Jamaica. His love for music was matched only by his kind heart, which extended to all animals, especially his beloved dogs, who brought him immense joy.
Paul thrived on friendship and connection; he enjoying the spirited game of darts and enjoyed a cold beer on draft when chatting amongst coworkers and friends. A dedicated sports enthusiast, Paul's loyalty to all sports, especially football and hockey was unwavering, and he could often be found cheering passionately for his teams.
Paul's kindness knew no bounds, and his willingness to help others was a testament to his generous spirit. Even through his sudden passing, Paul gave back and generously helped saved the lives of several people through his organ donation. His legacy will be carried on in the hearts that knew and loved him, he will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Carol (Buckley) Belanger of Ipswich; his mother, Virginia Belanger of Topsfield; his beloved canine companions, Brady and Tuukka and many other extended and loving family members and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father, Norman Belanger, sister, Sharon Walsh and beloved canines, Marley and Ziggy.
