Bob was born on April 17, 1957 in Marshalltown, IA to Melvin and Sharon (Yilek) Crawford. Bob was raised in the Toledo area, and graduated with the South Tama class of 1975.
Bob has been in Grinnell since the 1980s working many years at CertainTeed and then years at H W Brand.
Bob loved anything mechanical, especially engines and fast cars. In his last years he repaired bicycles for friends or anyone in need.
Bob is survived by his brothers, Don Crawford, and Michael (Carol) Crawford; his nieces Melynda McCord, Jacquelyn MCCord, and Marcy MCCord; and his great nephews, Josh, and Jerimiah. Bob's surviving brothers and the many friends he made in Grinnell will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bobbi; his parents, Melvin and Sharon, his brother Ron, and sister Mary.

My Mother Frances Ann Crawford is Uncle Melvin"s sister. I called Bob's parents Aunt Melvin and Uncle Sharon, we all got a kick out of this. Unfortunately as children we don't choose what our parents do or allow us to do. Because of this, I only have one memory of visiting Iowa as a child. That is a wholesome awesome memory including riding bikes and examining all the eccentric nick nakes in their home!! Despite not "knowing" my cousins, I love them and know they love me,as family does. My heart and prayers go out to Bob's family and friends. I love y'all.I wish I knew y'all better!! Thank you for sharing your amazing tomatoes when when I came out for Grandpaw Crawfords funeral! They and your hospitality were amazing!! Love and all that mushy stuff, Heather H
