On Monday evening, March 3, 2025, Robert Forrest Crowell, age 47, of Old Fort, passed away at his residence.
He was born in Concord, New Hampshire on July 16, 1977 to Robert Eugene Crowell and Nancy Dee Wilson.
Robert was known for his ability to make friends quickly, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path. Throughout his life, Robert held a deep love for music and enjoying live concerts at the Salvage Station. He had an unwavering passion for Liverpool Soccer, passionately cheering for his team and sharing his enthusiasm with fellow fans. His love for animals was evident in every interaction, as he showed kindness and compassion toward all creatures, big and small.
Robert's warm spirit and friendly demeanor made him a cherished friend to many and a beloved figure in his community. He will be remembered for his caring nature and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him.
He is survived by his parents, Robert Eugene Crowell and Nancy Wilson (Grant Kidd); one brother, Steven Crowell; and two nephews, Trent Forester and Aiden Crowell.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior, from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to The McDowell County Animal Shelter.
