Robert D. Crowley

Robert D. Crowley, Sr, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Bear Mountain Nursing Home in West Springfield after a brief illness. Born September 7, 1947 in Pawtucket, R.I. to the late Cornelius and Inez (Pickles) Crowley. Robert proudly served in the United States Army during Vietnam from September 20, 1965, to August 31, 1968, he attained the rank of Tech Sergeant and received the Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. Later he worked for many years as a truck driver. Bob enjoyed country music and a cold beer with his friends, spending many summers camping at the Indian Ranch in Webster, MA. He was also a proud member of the VFW in Russell, MA. Bob is survived by his sons, Robert Crowley, Jr and Timothy Crowley and his wife Kathleen, as well as their mother, Elaine Miller. He also leaves behind brothers Stephen and John Crowley along with his sister Helen Lanoie and predeceased by sister Barbara Crowley. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, along with many nieces and nephews. Bob is also survived his loving companion of 29 years, Susan Janisieski of Westfield. Burial and celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street. Westfield, MA 01085.
