Robert Cutler

On December 30, 2025, Robert "Bob" Cutler, 73, of Windsor Locks, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife of 53 years, Carol, and his sons, Allan and Jason.

Bob was born and raised in Thompsonville and attended local schools before graduating from Cheney Technical School, where he learned the electrical trade. He began his career as a temp and apprentice at The Travelers, earned his E1 contractor's license, and spent 46 years working in the Travelers complex - a career he took great pride in - before retiring in January 2017.

Bob was a devoted family man who would do anything for those he loved. He and Carol spent countless hours on bleachers and sidelines cheering on their sons and grandchildren at sporting events. They also enjoyed traveling, working toward a goal of visiting every state and coming close, with only five remaining. When their boys were young, summers were often spent vacationing on Cape Cod or at Sand Pond in Maine.

Bob will be missed by his wife, Carol; his sons, Allan (Kate) of Glastonbury and Jason (Lindsay) of Windsor Locks; his sister, Ruth Ann Jacobson (Peter) of Enfield; his brother, Bill (Cynthia) of Florida; his sister-in-law, Betsy Therrien (Ben) of Windsor; and his grandchildren, Lily, Bella, Jocelyn, Sophia, and Lucas.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, January 31st at 10AM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 383 Hazard Avenue, Enfield. Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 30th from 4PM to 7PM at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks.
