Robert C. "Bob" Cuvo, Sr., passed away on September 14, 2024, at St. Luke's in Allentown. He was the loving husband of Jennifer D. (Pastorius) Cuvo for 25 years this November, and they had been together for 39 years. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Joseph A. Cuvo, Sr. and Valeria (Kuzen) Cuvo,
Bob's journey began in Easton, where he attended Notre Dame High School before graduating from Easton High School. With a passion for security and protection, Bob dedicated over 25 years of his professional career to Laneco, where he served as Vice President and Operations Manager of Security. His commitment to safety and order continued as he worked with United American Security and Vector Security. Bob's work ethic and leadership were appreciated by all who worked with him until he embraced retirement.
Bob was of Catholic faith and had a deep devotion to Padre Pio. Bob's interests reflected his vibrant spirit and love for life. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Flyers, demonstrating his loyalty and enthusiasm for his favorite teams. As a devoted "Hockey Dad," Bob spent countless hours traveling and watching his children play, a role that brought him immense pride and joy. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of fishing at Much Chunk Lake and the serene moments he spent with his horses. Bob's heart was fullest when surrounded by his beloved family.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Jennifer, his legacy continues with his daughter Tina Transue and husband Kevin of Cresco; sons Robert C. Cuvo, Jr. and wife Lisa of Cresco, Chad C. Cuvo and wife Lindsay of Pickerington, OH, and Vinny Cuvo and wife Sabrina of Catasaqua. Bob was a proud grandfather to Austin, Zachary, Logan, Mason, Zoe, and Kylie. He is also survived by his sister, Alice Mae Loebsack, and his brother, Joseph A. Cuvo, Jr. and wife Joan, all of Easton and many nieces and nephews.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
