Robert J. Dallaire, age 93, died Friday, February 4, 2022 at Waccamuw Community hospital after a brief illness and with his loving son & daughter-in-law at his side.
"Bob" Dallaire was born in New Britain, CT to the late Gertrude ( Berube) & Sylvio Dallaire. He was a Navy WWII Veteran. After serving, he married the love of his life and best friend and continued to build their life together for 59 years. Bob retired from Plainville Electro Plating after 50+ years. Then Bob and June retired to Pawleys Island.
Bob was a member of Precious Blood of Christ Church.
Bob was an avid golfer and member of Litchfield Country Club where he met his dear friends and golf partners Chet Maslowski and Ken Kiluk.
Mr Dallaire is survived by his only child Ronald Dallaire, his wife Kathie, and her children Nicole, Drew and Ryan as well as Bob's sister-in-laws Lorraine and Maryann Dallaire and several nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by his wife June and his siblings Sylvia Gaughan, Ronald Dallaire, and Richard Dallaire.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Bob's friends and neighbors for their care, support and special "goodies" over the past few years especially.
The family would also like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to Louie Fiorillo, who kept a watchful eye out for Bob.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church.
The family would like to express a special thank you to all his friends and neighbors for all of their support.
